Supporters of Brent Knollâs community shop can now buy shares in the popular facilities.
The team that run the shop have launched a Community Share Issue to meet a regulatory deadline to establish a shareholding membership and stage their first Annual Membersâ Meeting.
The meeting will elect the future Management Committee to replace the current Steering Group of volunteers, with all shareholders being entitled to stand for election.
Shares are priced at £25 each, with the aim of encouraging as many local residents as possible to have a stake and an interest in the future of the Community Shop.

Since 2013, EWA (European Women s Audiovisual Network) has grown as a strong and supportive community for women audiovisual professionals across Europe. In this special year, the organisation s Annual Members Meeting will be held entirely online on 25 February and is set to replace the traditional gathering that normally takes place on site during the Berlinale.
The programme will consist of two parts. The first half will focus on the current issues of gender equality and diversity. The second one will be broken down into two thematic talks designed exclusively for EWA Network members. The initiative will be rounded off by an informal networking event open to invited professio

International arts management consultants TRG Arts today announced that Chief Executive Officer Jill Robinson has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Association of Performing Arts Professionals (APAP). APAP, based in Washington, D.C., is the national service, advocacy and membership organization dedicated to developing and supporting a robust, performing arts presenting field and the professionals who work within it. The APAP membership voted in new board members during the Annual Member Meeting held on January 13, immediately following the close of APAP s 64th annual conference.
