The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has launched a mobile app called 'PMC STP Water Tanker System' for developers to place requests for treated water.
NCP leader and former leader of the opposition Dipali Dhumal has urged the civic administration to ensure that the residents get water once the supply is restored on Fridays.
“The PMC is drawing 1,460 MLD water at present from the four dams and 50 MLD water from Bhama Askhed dam. The water cut once a week will save 0.25 TMC water in a month…” said Annirudha Pawaskar, in charge of the civic water supply department.
