WINDSOR A potent offensive attack was more than enough for the Windsor High softball team, which routed visiting Fair Haven, 17-5, in six innings on Friday afternoon at MacLeay-Royce Field.
“The whole lineup, 1-9, did their job and contributed to the win,” Windsor coach Heather Stearns said. “I’m very happy with how aggressive we are this year. We swung the bats very aggressively, put the ball in play and made them make plays defensively.”
Adi Prior led the way for the Yellowjackets with two singles and a double. Jenna Hood had a double and a single. Paige Kleefisch had a pair of base hits. Windsor collected 11 hits as a team.
