I have known Davis Farmers Market general manager Randii MacNear since 1980 when she did Aquathenics for pregnant women. She also did prenatal and postpartum exercise classes for Davis Free Clinic patients. She is funny and has a variety of interests. Let’s get to know more about Randii.

How did you get from New York to Davis?
I went to college in Ohio and graduated from Antioch College, Yellow Springs, Ohio. I met my husband, Steven MacNear, there. He was from Stockton, so we moved back to California. We chose to live in Davis. Even though I majored in art, I chose women’s healthcare as my profession. I got a job at the Sacramento State Student Health Center and was there for eight years. I left when I was pregnant with my son, Aaron.
