The final suspect to be arrested in Brandon’s alleged racially motivated stabbing in September was released from custody on bail on Monday.
Steven Huntinghawk, 36, is charged with assault and public incitement of hatred. He appeared in court by video from jail after he was arrested on Boxing Day. None of the charges have been proven in court.
Huntinghawk, along with Naomi Williams, Freedom Williams and Annie Huntinghawk, are charged in relation to the alleged stabbing at the Kristopher Campbell Memorial Skate Park on Sept. 3.
At approximately 7:40 p.m., four women and one man allegedly shouted racial slurs at a Black man at the skate plaza before attacking him.
