A NEW nursery is set to open in Okeford Fitzpaine, on the site of the existing primary school. The new nursery will cater for children from four months to four-years-old and will be based at the primary school, “benefitting from the use of the extensive school grounds as well as a dedicated nursery space within the school”. Nursery provider Sunbeams Day Care, based in Poole, will run the nursery. As well as caring for younger children, the nursery will also provide wrap-around care for pupils at the primary school, and a holiday club for local children. Headteacher Annie Dowling said she was “delighted” that Sunbeams Day Care had chosen to open the nursery.
