Christos Panagakos, now 30, was accused of the killing of Ivona Jovanovic, 27, in his Highland Park home in September, 2019 and charged with her death in January, 2021.

A bodybuilder has been charged over the death of his ex-girlfriend on the Gold Coast 16 months ago.
Ivona Jovanovic, 27, was shot in the chest at a Highland Park home on September 8, 2019 and died in hospital shortly afterwards.
The Labrador woman was allegedly with four friends at the time, including ex-boyfriend Christos Panagakos, who allegedly lived at the address.
Panagakos, 28, was arrested by detectives at Woodford Correctional Centre on Thursday following an extensive investigation into Ms Jovanovic s death.
He was taken to Brisbane Watchhouse, where he charged with one count of manslaughter and one count of unlawful possession of a firearm.
