May 24 FORT WORTH Several rounds of heavy rain led to flood advisories and warnings in Tarrant County and North Texas on Monday, and there have been isolated embedded thunderstorms.
The main hazard on Monday will be flooding. Parts of North Texas were expected to get 2 or more inches of rain. There s a 90 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.
The Fort Worth Fire Department began responding to swift water rescue calls on Monday evening. Shortly after 7 p.m., a woman reported being trapped in a vehicle in water off Wagley Robertson Road and Bent Oak Drive.

PARKER COUNTY, Texas As more rain moves through North Texas Monday afternoon and evening, flooding caused issues for people in Parker County.
Tarrant County was under a flood advisory until 8 p.m. and Parker and Hood counties were under a flash flood warning through 9 p.m.
Johnson County was under a flash flood warning until 10:15 p.m.
Scattered showers and storms are blanketing the area with pockets of heavy rain. Areas of concern for flash flooding include Weatherford, Hudson Oaks, Lipan and Annetta North with an additional 1 to 2 inches of rain possible, according to the National Weather Service.
