The Fort Worth Fire Department began responding to swift water rescue calls on Monday evening. Tarrant County was under a flood advisory until 8 p.m. and Parker and Hood counties were under a flash flood warning through 9 p.m. Johnson County was under a flash flood warning until 10:15 p.m. Scattered showers and storms are blanketing the area with pockets of heavy rain. Areas of concern for flash flooding include Weatherford, Hudson Oaks, Lipan and Annetta North with an additional 1 to 2 inches of rain possible, according to the National Weather Service.
