Elias everything they use to host sporting events for local kids was stolen sunday night and the theft was caught on video. Rip roar events is a group that puts on triathlons for kids ages 515 in the midwest. They were storing a trailer with all of the equipment they use to hold the races in a lot at 600 sw 7th street in des moines. Survelliance video shows a pickup truck took off with the trailer around 10 20 p. M. Sunday. The group says the items inside the trailer arent valuable to be resold because they are customized for their company. Theyre asking the thief to return the trailer, no questions asked. If youre looking at it trying to figure it out what it is, best thing would be to drop it off where you got it, no one would come after you, wed just be happy to have it home. Elias if you
