Gladstone residents offer free hot meals to those without power

Gladstone residents are mobilizing to offer free hot meals to neighbors who have gone five days without power following one of the worst snow and ice storms in recent memory.
The Gladstone Ice Storm Mutual Aid Group is encouraging community members to swing by Gladstone High School (18800 Portland Ave.) from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18 and Friday, Feb. 19 to receive a hot meal after the success of serving meals on Feb. 16-17. The meals include pork sliders, mashed potatoes, beans and rice, asparagus, mac and cheese, chicken, pizza, spahgetti, chili, hot dogs and deserts. There will be vegetarian options available as well.
