NEGAUNEE TWP, MI – Lisa M. (Kurek) Roznick, 64, was born to Eternal Life on February 16, 2021 after a long and courageous battle with brain cancer.
She was adopted by Valentine and Irene (Kisch) Kurek on May 6, 1957 and was loved dearly. She was strong-willed and independent from the very beginning and that never changed. She graduated successfully as a nationally certified ultrasound technologist. Lisa enjoyed running, swimming, boating, water skiing, snowmobiling, and almost any outdoor activity and a variety of crafts. She played the violin beautifully. Lisa married Roy Roznick, with whom she had two sons that she adored. Although Lisa and Roy later divorced, they remained good friends.
