(UroToday.com) The optimizing personalized management of non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer session at the 2021 American Society of Clinical Oncology Genitourinary Cancers Symposium (ASCO GU) included a presentation from Dr. Anne Schuckman discussing which patients with high-risk non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer may benefit from radical cystectomy. Dr. Shuckman notes that more than 70% of all newly diagnosed bladder cancers are non-muscle-invasive, including Ta (70%), T1 (20%), and CIS (10%).
