we begin with breaking news this midday with the scare on the potomac. just as the president was at th e the pentagon. good morning, i m allison sey mo. ur rvm > hiirgundsa d a boat refused to move on ur the potomac at the time the motorcade crossed the bridging. claudia coffey joined us by phone. what is going on? a confusing morning. reporter: it has been. i can tell you what we saw when we arrived. i m along the banks of the potomac between the memorial bridge and the 14th street bridge. when we arrived here we saw about four coast guard boats circling rapidly in a circling pattern in front of us. they had their guns out on the boats, on the front of the boats. they were right by the guns. it was a s ear as to what was happening. they were here for maybe t5-10 minutes, doing the circling pattern with their guns drawn. hen they sped off in the direction of the 14th street bridge. they were on the other side of the 14th street bridge for maybe another 5-10 minutes. and n
