67th annual Fine Arts Fiesta kicks off with outstanding weather

Folks with the Fine Arts Fiesta in Wilkes-Barre say tents that went up on Public Square this week are a sight for sore eyes. Oh, my, my, I just was filled with excitement, happiness. I just can t wait for the weekend to come and welcome the Fine Arts Fiesta back to the square, said Anne Rodella, a Fine Arts Fiesta board member. The fiesta was canceled last year because of the pandemic and is coming back this year on a smaller scale.

The virtual show is available to homeschoolers, pre school-age children and older children through their school curriculum. Teachers and parents can visit kirbycenter.org for more information. Questions and access to the stream can be directed to marketing@kirbycenter.org. “We can’t wait to open our doors again, but in the meantime, finding a way to offer a full Young People’s Theater Series virtually and free, available for in-school or at-home learning, helps connect the F.M. Kirby Center to our supportive community and our mission,” Artistic Director Anne Rodella said. “We look forward to presenting more virtual school shows in the new year.”
