Greenwich Girl Scouts bring holiday joy to River House

River House enjoys holiday tree from Greenwich Girl Scouts
Greenwich Girl Scouts this year decorated a special holiday tree and donated it to the River House for its clients to enjoy this Christmas season.
The tree was adorned with handmade ornaments made by Girl Scouts, who ranged in age from first to twelfth grades. To ensure the safety of the clients and staff, the tree was delivered to River House’s front door and accepted by Anne Murdock, River House’s development director.
River House and Greenwich Girl Scouts have long collaborated, with Girl Scouts eager to support the community’s elders through their service projects. This year, the two organizations found a socially distanced way to express their heartfelt connection.
