The enraged sister of a woman who was raped and then murdered is calling for serious convicted offenders to be jailed until the day they die in prison.
Anne-Marie Culleton was just 20 when Jonathan Bakewell, then aged 26, strangled her to death in her bed in a Darwin flat back in 1988.
He broke into her apartment where she was asleep before violently raping and attacking her.
Bakewell then callously stuffed Anne-Maree s body face-down in the shower, with the water scalding hot in a bid to remove possible evidence.
