The Whitman County Election Office only counted a handful of last-minute ballots this week, but that was enough to decide one Palouse City Council race — at least temporarily.
With more than twice the number of votes than his opponent, preliminary election results show Francis Benjamin leading the race for the Pullman City Council Ward 1 seat in the
