CAMDEN If you are looking for Carter Jones on a given Wednesday-Sunday, December through March, morning, we know just where he is. The teen will have already geared up in boots, jacket and helmet, and will be standing at the base of Ragged Mountain, chatting with a lift attendant and getting as goes industry lingo – “first chair.”

OWLS HEAD & CRIEHAVEN Jeffrey A. Jones, 50, passed away peacefully after a year long battle with cancer.
He leaves behind his sons, Benjamin and Carter, and their mother, Anne Edmands, of Owls Head. During his illness he lived with and was cared for by his mother, Frances Stone Jones, of Owls Head.
He had the support of his Aunt Jessie Stone, Uncle Charles Stone also of Owls Head; his father Jeffrey Jones Sr. and his wife Nancy, of Bangor; siblings Leah of Providence, Rhode Island, and Toby of Washington, D.C.; his Uncle Ivan Stone, his wife Janis of Owls Head and their son, David, and his family; friends Jimmy Kalloch, of Rockland, and Jim Simmonds, of Lubec, as well as cousins, extended family and friends.
