The driver of a truck involved in a crash in Florida last January that killed a member of Holy Cross’ crew team has settled his lawsuit with the college, his attorney said Monday.
Court records show Holy Cross and fellow defendant in the case, former women’s rowing team coach Patrick Diggins, offered a settlement proposal to Ronald Wolf and his wife and co-plaintiff, Heather, on Feb. 9.
The Wolfs, who originally filed their complaint in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida on July 17, submitted a stipulation of dismissal with prejudice on May 5. The court closed the case the following day, May 6, according to court records.
