Three Great Sankey youngsters are braving all weathers in their bid to do 5km a day and raise funds for a children’s hospice. Barrowhall Primary School pupils James Needs, George Robinson and Annabelle McLean will be running or walking 5km every day in March to raise money for Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice in Liverpool, which provides palliative, respite and end of life care for babies and infants. The trio, who are all aged ten, completed their first 5km running together but have been walking or running with family since then. Jill, proud mum to James, said: “They have been really well supported by family and friends as well as everyone from school.
