Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC), the state’s oldest and largest outdoor stewardship organization, is hosting its inaugural Spring fundraiser, Naturally United: Reunion 2022, on Thursday, May 12 from 5:30-8 p.m. at Balistreri Vineyards in north Denver.

CLEAR CREEK COUNTY, Colo. On the mountain trails high above metro Denver, Coloradans enjoy fresh air, crystal clear streams and rivers, and views unlike anywhere else in the world.
âAbout 70 to 90% of Coloradans recreate every week outdoors,â said Anna Zawisza, acting CEO of Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado.
Itâs for that reason there is such a need for trail maintenance.
âBut guess how many who recreate outdoors actually volunteer?â Zawisza said. âItâs less than 1%. Thatâs a statistic that weâre trying to flip.â
