Hurricane nate sweeping over louisiana, mississippi and alabama. Waves and rain lashing the coastline. We are only in the outer bands of Hurricane Nate and already in gulf court mississippi, the waves are over the storm wall, one of the biggest concerns, a state of emergency and curfew in effect in towns and counties louisiana to florida. No one should take the storm lightly. Its proven deadly in honduras and nicaragua. The city lying below sea level and relying on pumps to avoid flooding. I put no faith at all in the pumps. I met with pump operators. They are in a good place working hard. They tied up boats all saturday. Others not sure what to expect. We have tornadoes and you dont know when they pop up.
