Bullish positions on the Indian rupee climbed to a more than three-year high on optimism over the economic outlook, a Reuters poll found, while investors turned bearish on the Philippine peso for the first time since April last year.

The oil marketing companies on Thursday again hiked the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas domestic gas cylinder by ₹25 per cylinder. A 14.2 kg cylinder in Delhi costs ₹794 as against ₹769.00 at which they were supplied on Wednesday.
This is the third hike in February. LPG cylinde prices were increased this month first by ₹25 on February 4 and by ₹50 on February 15.

Mumbai: In the wake of the resurgence of coronavirus cases, the Mumbai civic body has decided to shut the iconic Oval Maidan from Friday, officials said.
No sports or other activities will be allowed at the recreational ground in south Mumbai till further orders, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials said.

After seeing the graph of active infections going down for days, India has once again started reporting an upward trend.
As many as 16,738 people tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours in the country, according to the Union health ministry. The total number of cases now stands at 1,10,46,914.
