After earning his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Springfield College, in Springfield Massachusetts, which was the training ground for the YMCA, he served in The US Marine Corp at Quantico, Virginia, where he also stressed how it further developed his physical and leadership skills. He was 80. Samuel Little, who had diabetes, heart trouble and other ailments, died at a California hospital, according to the state Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. He was serving a life sentence for multiple counts of murder. California corrections department spokeswoman Vicky Waters said there was no sign of foul play, and his cause of death will be determined by a coroner.

Samuel Little, a serial killer with nearly 60 confirmed victims, died Wednesday at a California hospital. He had diabetes, heart trouble and other ailments. Little was serving a life sentence for multiple counts of murder. Little pleaded guilty in August 2019 during a special teleconference to two slayings that took place in Cincinnati. Little provided information about the killing of one of his victims, Anna Lee Stewart. The Cincinnati mother of three was killed in October of 1981. Her body was dumped in a Grove City field near Columbus.
