The North Carolina track and field teams will head to Clemson University on Thursday, Feb. 25 to compete in the 2021 ACC Indoor Championships, with the men's team looking to win its first title since 1996, and the women's team looking for its first since 2004.
This past Friday and Saturday, the North Carolina track and field teams competed at the Tiger Paw Invitational and the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational at Clemson University and Liberty University, respectively.
UNC returned to Blacksburg after winning three events there the week prior. The best performances came from the men’s one-mile event, which saw the Tar Heels take first, second and fifth.
With a strong incoming group of first-years and some key returners, the UNC women's and men's track and field teams are primed for further improvements in 2021.
