After living at Lurie Children’s Hospital for months, 8-month-old Elodie Carmen Baker, who has a condition called dilated cardiomyopathy, has received a heart transplant.
Elodie Baker, who is under one year old, received a successful heart transplant on March 27. She was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy, a rare but dangerous heart condition last year.
