The province won’t introduce new restrictions to curb the third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic that has now arrived in Alberta, Premier Jason Kenney said Thursday.
Instead, the premier called on Albertans to follow existing public health restrictions, including a ban on indoor social gatherings, ahead of another holiday weekend.

“Going into the Easter long weekend I hoped to be able to tell you that we turned a corner in the fight against COVID-19,” Kenney said.
