For four Sundays in February, among the tropical plants and larger-than-life art pieces of the Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens, visitors can bask in the melodious glow of jazz and gospel musicians from a crooner who can replicate the unmistakable Louis Armstrong to a chorale whose harmonies reach the soul.
Jazz & Gospel in the Gardens is back by popular demand, honoring Black History Month at the West Palm Beach home of sculptor Ann Weaver Norton, from 1 to 3 p.m. starting Sunday. It s an excellent departure for people in a stressful time, said Margaret Horgan, managing director of the Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens. It provides a very tranquil experience for everyone that I think people could use.
