Donald Wayne Dunlop, 82, of 2123 Southwestern Dr. Lakewood, N.Y., passed away peacefully at 6:43 p.m. Saturday, April 17, 2021, in UPMC Chautauqua.
He was born Oct. 8, 1938, in Youngstown, Ohio, a son of the late Gilmore and Margaret Anderson Dunlop.
Don grew up in McKeesport, Pa., and attended Penn State University, majoring in hotel and restaurant management.
Don moved to the Jamestown area in the early 1960s. After managing Moon Brook Country Club for several years, he moved on to become the director of food service at the former WCA Hospital, where he worked for 28 years retiring in 1995.
Following his retirement, Don and his wife, Mary Beth moved to Rotunda, Fla., where they enjoyed golfing, fishing, and traveling together. While living in Florida, Don also became a successful real estate agent with Remax Realty. They eventually re- turned to New York State and found residence in Lakewood, N.Y.
