Gold, who inherited the Ann Summers empire from her father, famously transformed the company when she launched the Ann Summers Party Plan in 1981, which gave women the chance to buy sex toys and lingerie in their own homes. Now, the business mogul has insisted that trans people are more than welcome at their famous home parties. Gold told The Times: “We would absolutely welcome transgender [people], we want to support them. We want to empower them.”
