This year, the Progressive Women s Association of White Hall turned to area veterans for the inspiration behind their annual hand-crafted items, which include a patriotic-themed quilt and an afghan comforter. The proceeds will go into the PWA s Ann Douthit Memorial Scholarship fund.
The Progressive Women's Association (PWA) of White Hall will hold its annual Fall Scholarship Auction at 6 p.m. Nov. 5-6. The event will be at the White Hall Community Center, 9801 Dollarway Road, and the public is welcome to attend.
For the Progressive Women's Association of White Hall, the next few weeks will be busy ones, starting with a donation/drawing and a rummage sale and ending with food donations.
