Willie Joe Johnson, 63, of Belleville, is scheduled for a restitution hearing on June 17 in Washtenaw County district court after a sentencing hearing he attended Thursday, April 22 was adjourned. If an amount is agreed upon during the restitution hearing, a sentencing could follow immediately afterward, Judge Karen Quinlan Valvo said. Johnson’s attorney and the prosecution currently are trying to determine an appropriate amount of restitution Johnson needs to pay, in addition to the length of his probation term.
