ANN ARBOR, MI – An Ann Arbor resident was injured Friday morning when a fire sparked somewhere on the first floor of their home, officials said.
Fire crews were called to the home in the 2000 block of Yorktown Drive at 8:12 a.m. March 12, and found heavy flames coming from the two-story residence, according to the Ann Arbor Fire Department.

ANN ARBOR, MI – An Ann Arbor apartment is uninhabitable after a fire broke out Sunday night while food being cooked was left unattended.
Fire crews were called at 9:23 p.m. Sunday, March 7, to Signature Club Apartments south of Eisenhower Parkway for a reported fire in one apartment, according to the Ann Arbor Fire Department.
Crews arrived to find an active fire in a first-floor unit in one of the complex’s three-story apartment buildings, officials said.

University of Michigan employee was knocked unconscious in a parking structure over the weekend and woke up to find his car on fire,
The
Michigan Medicine staff member said he was assaulted around 7:50 p.m. Saturday (Feb. 6) on the fifth floor of the P1 parking garage on West Medical Center Drive in Ann Arbor.
He told officials with the U of M Division of Public Safety and Security that when he woke up, his car was on fire.
