The first and foremost thing that you should do to ensure your wooden furniture remains intact is to allow proper ventilation and not let humidity levels at your place go up as it can damage the furniture. “To maintain ideal humidity levels, utilise dehumidifiers or moisture absorbers. Furthermore, avoid positioning wooden furniture against walls because it hinders air circulation and might lead to moisture build-up,” shares Anjum Jung, executive director, Morph Interior Designs.
