After needing to wait a few months to learn exactly when we ll all be able to play Guilty Gear Strive again, Arc System Works finally revealed the dates and information for the Open Beta Test #2.
Those who put time into the fighting game before will be coming back to find a fairly different experience than the first beta with the developers making a number of big changes to Strive s interface and battle systems.

Guilty Gear: Strive was given a release date and time window by its developer
Arc System Works, for its previously announced third beta. The game saw an online closed beta in 2020 and an open beta in February of this year. Following the first open beta, which was received well by the fighting game community, the game was delayed in order to implement the feedback received from fans. Guilty Gear: Strive also received location testing in Japanese arcades following the first beta so that the team could get even more feedback. Considering how seriously the team is taking fan’s suggestions, it is little surprise that the game will receive a final open beta a month before the game’s launch.

A second Guilty Gear Strive open beta will be available next month on PlayStation consoles, Arc System Works confirmed today.
The next open beta, which will feature the same content seen in the first beta with the addition of Anji Mito and I-No, will be live from May 13th until May 16th, allowing players to try out the upcoming new entry in the series. The beta client will become available for download on May 7th.
Additionally, Arc System works confirmed that some changes have been introduced in Guilty Gear Strive after receiving feedback from the first beta, including a new Duel Station battle queue system from the Online Lobby and a very welcome rematch function.

Players have been itching to play more Guilty Gear Strive since the online beta servers went down in February, and now we know when the testing grounds will be open once again.
Arc System Works announced tonight that the Open Beta #2 for Strive will begin on May 13 and includes the entire launch roster this go around.
Those looking to take part in the beta can either use the same game client from the first open test if they still have it downloaded or it can be acquired from the PlayStation Store beginning May 7 at 8 a.m. PDT.
