Delhi Police today filed an 800-page charge sheet in the hit and drag case, where a young Delhi woman was dragged and killed in the early hours of the New Year. The charge sheet, against the seven accused, has listed 117 witnesses.
Anjali Singh (20) was killed in the early hours of New Year's Day after her scooter was hit by a car, which dragged her for more than 12 kilometres from Sultanpur to Kanjhawala.
The Union Home Ministry had on Thursday directed Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora to suspend all personnel posted in three PCR vans and two pickets along the route where 20-year-old Anjali Singh was dragged and killed.
