The people of Enniskerry celebrated National Community Gardens Week with the launch of the village’s new community garden at Dixon’s Meadow, where Gill Toal, chairperson of the Tidy Towns group, welcomed everyone before giving a fascinating overview of the area’s history.

North Wicklow Women’s Shed (NWWS), which is based in Bray, had its first official meeting of members on Thursday, September 28, having amassed over 1,800 Facebook followers since the committee members began campaigning to get a home to call their own as far back as 2021.
