SCRANTON A woman claims Montage Mountain Resorts employees instructed her to disembark from a chair lift ride when it was not safe and caused her to suffer severe injuries.
Anita Soto filed a complaint May 19 in the Court of Common Pleas of Lackawanna County against Montage Mountain Resorts LP and M.M.R. General Contracting LLC alleging negligence.
Soto claims in her suit that she was at the Montage Mountain Resorts in Scranton on July 5, 2019. She alleges that while attempting to get to the resort s Zip-Line using the ski-lift styled chair ride, resort employees instructed and forced her to leap when it was not safe and caused her to suffer severe and serious personal injuries.
