Hernan Crespo will be the next boss of Al Ain, the UAE club has announced.Crespo steps into the role following the departure of former Ajax head coach Alfred Schreuder, who parted ways last week after a brief six-month tenure. In an announcement on social media, Al Ain said: "Hernan Crespo has shone as a global star and imposed his personality as an exceptional coach. "His global status and exceptional ambitions are consistent with the leader of Asian football."Crespo, a former Argentina international, represented the likes of Chelsea, AC Milan, Inter Milan and Lazio during an illustrious playing career. The 48-year-old has previously managed clubs in Qatar, Brazil, Italy and Argentina.
