Salon owner appeals for electronic devices for schools

A KIND-HEARTED salon owner has pledged to help the community with an appeal for laptop and electronic devices. Anne Catten, 83, has run her businesses in Dovercourt, including Snip N Shape hairdressers in Dovercourt High Street since the 1970s. Now she wants to galvanise the community and encourage businesses and individuals to play their part in helping the town’s youngsters. She wants to collect donated devices to give to the eight primary schools in Harwich and Dovercourt as a way of saying thank you to the town’s residents have been so supportive of her salons and barbers.
