The male tiger strayed into a village near Masani Barrage in Haryana on January 18 after it attacked an old farmer watering his mustard field in Khushkheda village in Rajasthan, the Alwar forest department said.
Wildlife experts have urged the government to make the land, spread across 1,500 acres, devoid of cables since the administration faces challenges owing to the land ownership.
Also known as the American black vulture, the bird's range usually spread from the northeastern US to Peru, Central Chile, Brazil and Uruguay in South America.
