BOSTON - When Kevan Miller takes the ice these days, he does so with a newfound appreciation. Nearly two years away from the game that he loves has made him realize that no day at the rink should be taken for granted. If anything, I m just in a different position than I was before the injury…sometimes you take things for granted, said Miller, who has not played an NHL game since April 2019 when he suffered a broken kneecap that has required four subsequent surgeries and endless hours of rehabilitation.
