As a result, the Department of Health told Saint John Water to impose a boil water order.
The water should not be consumed without boiling it first.
It should come to a rolling boil for at least one minute and cooled before using.
Bottled water can be used for drinking, brushing teeth, making ice, juice, coffee or tea.
JUST IN: The City of Saint John has issued a boil water order for 300 residents in the Rockwood Park Area. It includes Anglin Drive, Hawthorne Avenue and Sandy Point Road. The boil water order is needed following an infrastructure malfunction.
