from atlanta. also with us here in studio is meteorologist angie lasman. welcome all. we re hearing that other airlines are now stepping in trying to help with this meltdown. what can and are they doing to help? reporter: they are trying to cap their prices right now. s basically to make it affordable, so that the many thousands of people stranded and not able to take southwest flights can buy another flight on their airlines and make it back to their destination. delta, american ask united have said they are going to cap their air fares in select cities, in areas where the cancellations are hitting travelers theest and try to make it possible for them to book other flights. this speaks to the difficulty for the passengers not just the ones stranded, but for many they have already made it back home, but they have done so already shouldering untold, unaccounted for expenses we have talked to some people who had to take
