Like many newlyweds, Jana Herzen and Charnett Moffett thought that San Francisco sounded like an ideal destination for their honeymoon.
A New York musical power couple with deep Bay Area ties, they flew out after their wedding in February 2020. Some 17 months and one global pandemic later they’re still here, and now they’re calling San Francisco home.
“I’ve always been somewhat bicoastal, bouncing back and forth between the Bay Area and New York, and we’d been thinking about moving out here anyhow,” Herzen said. “New York was such a hot spot that we decided to stay here, and Charnett and I have had this kind of extended COVID honeymoon.”

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. Two sisters decided to buy and reopen a spa in Warner Robins, fulfilling the wish of their late father who wanted them to stick together.
Co-owners Angela Moffett and Nicole Houser have opened Renewed Beauty and Spa in what formally was Real Spa.
The business offers haircuts and styles, nails, facials, waxing and more. They offer their services for men, women and families.
Moffett says the spa is different from others because it offers that warm and welcome feeling for every customer.

She d always wanted to open her own clothing store. She thought about going back to school and learning a new trade, or returning to Robins Air Force Base as a civilian worker. Houser said she took some time off to decompress after she quit working in February and officially retired in May. While at home, she worked on an online business partnership forged in October 2019.
