A FIFE teacher has warned of an online learning postcode lottery after struggling with outdated technology to deliver lessons. The council employee contacted Mid Scotland and Fife MSP Alex Rowley, telling him that she was having to put up with an old laptop while counterparts in other parts of the country – as well as pupils – had been given brand new equipment to help them. Mr Rowley has now written to Deputy First Minister and Fife Council chief Steve Grimmond, telling them the situation is not acceptable. The teacher expressed concern that there had been no standard provision of technology nearly a year since the first lockdown.
