In Search of a New Diva is an entertaining, unique and dramatic reality show, created by Marcello Coltro with the objective to discover new TV personalities among talented women in different countries of Latin America to become the next TV Diva hostess. This first season was produced in Venezuela with TV local hostess, Camila Canabal and a judge composed by renowned specialists: Divas Lucy Pereda, considered the Latin Martha Stewart and famous for her television show En Casa de Lucy and her books and Rebecca Rincon, the Diva of simple home solutions - and Venezuelan judge, fashion and style Caras magazine editor, Roland Carreño. Ten women competed during ten weeks and faced 20 different challenges including decoration, cooking, beauty, fashion, among others talents, until the winner, Angela Freitas was announced and became the new TV Diva to receive her own television series launched in 2010.
