Nickel Mines share price sinks
In a statement to the ASX, Nickel Mines reported disappointing results for the last quarter, with massive declines across the board.
Nickel sales fell 10.0% from the prior corresponding period (pcp) to 10,257 tonnes. Production of the 28
th element at the company’s Ranger Nickel Rotary Kiln Electric Furnace (RKEF) fell 12.7% to 10,067 tonnes.

Australia’s Nickel Mines company has completed the acquisition of an additional 20% stake in Angel Capital, a Singaporean holding company that is ultimately the owner of the Angel Nickel project in Indonesia.
With the latest acquisition, Nickel Mines holds a 50% interest in the Angel Nickel project.
It acquired the initial 30% interest in the project earlier this year.

Nickel Mines Ltd ((NIC)) has an 80% interest in two rotary kiln electric furnace (RKEF) projects in the Morowali Industrial Park in Indonesia. Chinese steel company Tsingshan holds the other 20%.
The two projects, Hengjaya and Ranger, together produced a record 11.5kt of nickel in the December quarter, up 8% on the September quarter and 5% year on year. Both production, and realised nickel prices, exceeded broker forecasts by varying degrees.
