When Phyllis Mwanthi, a mother of two delivered her second baby five months ago, she immediately started expressing breast milk to ensure the little one survived exclusively on the liquid gold for six months as science recommends.
Her baby now almost transiting to solids, Mwanthi realised she has extra bags of frozen breast milk that her baby might never need.
As of last week, Mwanthi had been expressing the breast milk daily and ensured she stored at least 400ml.

People aged 65 to 69 and clinically vulnerable to receive vaccines from tomorrow

People aged 65 to 69 and those who are clinically vulnerable against Covid will start receiving vaccines tomorrow.
More than a million people have already been invited to book a jab at mass vaccine hubs or pharmacy services.

Almost 1.2 million letters were due to land on doorsteps by yesterday (Saturday) asking people to log on to the national booking service at www.nhs.uk/covid-vaccination with another 1.2 million due to arrive this week.
Anyone unable to book online can call 119 free of charge, anytime between 7am and 11pm seven days a week.

An Odeon Luxe cinema has shelved popcorn and movies to open as a Covid-19 mass vaccination centre.
The venue, part of the Lockmeadow entertainment hub in Barker Road, Maidstone, has joined up with private firm Pharmacy2U.

Vaccinations began last Thursday, just days before the launch of another mass inoculation centre at Tonbridgeâs Angel Centre leisure complex.
Patients will be contacted by the NHS via letter, text or email with information on how to book an appointment.
Tilak Raj, 64, was among those receiving their first dose this week.
