fox not on the list. joining me now is my panel. ange angela, what was your reaction to jane s story? it tied all these strands together, two years worth of conversation about fox being the propaganda arm of the white house. why did this matter? partly because of the story telling and it validated it s a big moment for fox news. it s kicking off advertising season right now. the major story fox news is saying we know our prime time people are out there, our opinion people are out there, but our news is dependable and reliable. this story cut against the narrative. they ve been emphasizing the news division. they have a news division. it s huge compared to the opinion division which has the highest rated shows.
there were no charges against ian, the man in the middle. the d.a. said angela diaz was the master mind and sole actor in an elaborate scheme to portray herself as a victim. she had quite simply framed michelle hadley. michelle is accused of being angela who pretended to be michelle who pretended to be ange angela. angela, accused of sending herself threatening e-mails invietding men to own home to rape her and all to put her husband s ex- girlfriend behind bars. what s more, at least for a few months, authorities say she succeeded. when someone who s innocent gets arrested and charged with a crime, that s not just a bad day, it s a nightmare. it needs to be made clear in the media and in cyber space, ms. hadley is an innocent victim of a diabolical stecheme.
i unlock the trunk and i realize i got to not do it too hard and i close it slightly and i start looking for her, she s not there. so i look around, and sure enough, she s hobbled into the brush. i go and grab her and throw her in the trunk. i must have made too much racket, because neighbors came out of their apartment. defreeze shot a round to get them to back off. natalee s sitting off in ange angela s car, so she got off a few rounds too. we re ready to boogie, weed can see we re ready to go, we come out of the driveway, emily comes up behind us. we make it around the corner, all of a sudden out of nowhere, here comes a berkeley cop. who stops the vw with willie and ms. moon in it.
he s positioning himself against a do-nothing congress, making progress and when angela, my dear friend, runs down the economic progress we re facing, it presents the kind of choice and the kind of dialog we re going to have in the campaign that s increasingly favoring to democrats. doug, you re exactly right, dealing with the the facts, it would be in obama victory if congress goes along with our republican proposal. but it would be a victory for americans. it will be a victory. i agree. and that s what we re losing sight. i couldn t agree more. kelly: lets me ask you, the republicans say in the weekly address they have a plan and would like see the president and congress adopt the plan so they can see the economy moving along at a steady place. ange angela, where do you see it going? will it see the light of day. anl working that way over a decade, it s not just a republican plan, it s just not the white house plan, we have to compromise in washington d.c. and because it
tied to the republican primary process and it was more tied to media markets for book sales. so, that conversation was a part of how political opper tiffs and there wasn t substance there. jehmu, we can put emphasis on the book campaign or some would say fox news, but you have right wing conservatives who like this man and you ve heard people say in tennessee, in the state of mississippi,s a candidate from god and they believe in him. so we might say he was on a book tour, might say he wants a television career, but he still brings the people out to support him. let me ask you this, ange angela, one thing we can agree on. this mess is a distraction at a time when our economy can t afford it, when congress is unable to move forward and we
